A beer that takes time to be savored and understood, say the Trappist monks of Maria Toevlucht Abbey! Zundert 10 Quadrupel Trappist is bottle-conditioned, has a deep ruby-brown color, and features a creamy, dense head. With a slight herbal touch, the signature of all Abbey beers, it offers aromas of dried plums and figs, as well as spices, licorice, and a hint of chocolate. About the beer

Zundert 10 Quadrupel Trappist is a quadrupel with a slightly herbal touch, the signature of all Abbey beers. This Trappist beer is deep ruby-brown in color and features a dense, creamy head. On the nose, it offers notes of dried fruits, plums, and figs, as well as spices, liquorice, and a hint of chocolate. The taste is round and full-bodied, balanced by a pleasant hop bitterness. In the aftertaste, you will sense the subtlety of the typical Zundert herbal notes.

Zundert beers have been produced since 2013 at the Trappist Abbey of Maria Toevlucht, which is only the second Trappist brewery in the Netherlands. With an annual production of just 5,000 hL, it is one of the smallest operating Trappist breweries to feature the “Authentic Trappist Product” label on its bottles. Their hazelnut-colored beers are produced under the monks' supervision according to the Benedictine rule of "Ora et labora." They should be savored with time and serenity.
