Discovering the world of Brettanomyces, the name given to the wild yeast of spontaneous fermentation at the heart of the legendary lambics of the Zenne Valley, is a fascinating experience. In fact, a true lambic is produced only within a 15 km radius of Brussels, in the area known as Pajottenland. This little marvel of bitter flavour will win you over with its subtlety, where lambic never means sourness. A wild, fresh aroma combines with a completely liberated flavour from the very first sip, leaving a taste of authenticity on the palate while maintaining all the mystery of Brussels gueuzes.

Oude Gueuze is a legally protected designation and is also known as the champagne of beers, due to its carbonation and especially because it is available only in limited editions. Oude Gueuze beers are the result of an unsweetened blend of two or more 100% lambic beers.

Timmermans beers are produced in Itterbeek, at the oldest lambic brewery still in operation, respecting a tradition of over 300 years.

Over the last century, 3 generations of "The Finest Drinks Company" have provided all connoisseurs with a wonderful journey through the world of beer. Today, at every second of the day or night, two of their beers are being enjoyed somewhere in the world. The secret to this success lies in the blend of English tradition and Belgian know-how. John Martin, born in 1886 in Newmarket, GB, moved to Antwerp in 1909 and began by importing English beers, and by 1912 he was already the official importer of Guinness. But it was only in 1950 that John Martin developed a beer, Bulldog Pale Ale, later known as Martin’s Pale Ale. In 1992, the "Finest Beer Selection" by Anthony was launched, and a year later the Timmermans brewery joined the group. Today, this brewing group owns the formula for Guinness Special Export, a version produced in Ireland exclusively for Anthony Martin.
