St-Feuillien Grand Cru is the "signature" beer of Brasserie St-Feuillien, a true masterpiece! The term Grand Cru, defined and applied by Cistercian monks to wines, means grown or developed. In the two existing classification terms—Grand Cru and Premier Cru—Grand Cru designates the highest quality, followed by Premier Cru. And the former applies perfectly to this magnificent beer from the St-Feuillien Abbey, justifiably awarded gold at the World Beer Awards.

Grand Cru is bottle-refermented, resulting in a beer with an unforgettable character, the secret of which lies in the unique combination of the noble hops used and the finest ingredients. Grand Cru distinguishes itself from other beers of the style by the absence of spices and by the traditional dry hopping with Styrian Golding hop flowers.

The foam is white, abundant, and creamy, creating a subtle lace effect when poured. The color is clear and brilliant. On the nose, it is a cascade of hop aromas with fruity notes, combining subtlety and richness. On the palate, the first sip is light and contrasting at the start, followed by a long, nuanced, and flattering bitterness. The hoppy character (primarily from the Styrian Golding variety) dominates the aftertaste, prolonged by a lingering bitterness of good intensity.
