Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor is a beer from Brouwerij Het Anker, launched in 2008 at the Zythos Beer Festival. It stands out for its name, inspired by ‘Opsinjoor’, a mythical figure from Mechelen, an eternal drunkard punished by his wife, and for the play on the word ‘hops’, using five distinct hops in the production process.

It is a golden yellow, cloudy beer, as it is unfiltered to preserve maximum aroma. It offers a fruity malt profile, earthy and herbal hops, and a strong yeast character that enriches its complexity.
