About the beer

In honor of the English Brewmasters who created the first beer for the armadas to take to the Indies, adding more hops to preserve their fermentations during the turbulent voyages, the English brewer John Martin preserved this tradition when he arrived in Antwerp in 1909, using the traditional dry-hopping technique. Dry-hopping with English Kent Golding hop flowers and American Cascade and Citra hops gives Martin’s IPA 55 a very pronounced citrusy and fruity touch.
