The Discovery IPA Pack brings together ten beers around a single style—the IPA—to reveal its enormous diversity. From Belgium to the United States, passing through Portugal, each label interprets hops in a different way: more bitter, fruitier, more resinous, or more subtle.
In the pack, you will find the Chouffe IPA, a classic Belgian with balanced bitterness, and the Vedett Extra Ordinary IPA, fresh and accessible. The Lupulus Hopera carries the Belgian signature with greater hop intensity, while the Vetra IPA, an American IPA with 6.6% ABV, focuses on a more resinous and citrusy profile.
From Portugal, four offerings stand out: the Dois Corvos More Than a Feeling, a NEIPA with a silky body and tropical aroma; the Letra Skylight, a light and easy-drinking Session IPA; and from Oitava Colina, two higher-intensity beers—the Sabino, a Triple IPA with 11% ABV, and the Vila Iolanda, a Double IPA with 9% ABV, both with a pronounced body and persistent bitterness.
The Mont Blanc La Cristal completes the range of Session IPAs, and the Insel Snorkelers Sea Salt IPA joins the pack as an alcohol-free option, with a saline touch that evokes the sea.
Pairing: more bitter and resinous IPAs, such as the Vetra or the Lupulus Hopera, pair well with intense cheeses and spicy snacks, which soften the bitterness. Session IPAs and the NEIPA go well with salads, sushi, or grilled fish due to their lightness and freshness. The stronger versions, Sabino and Vila Iolanda, benefit from grilled meats or burgers, dishes with fat that balance the hop intensity. The carbonation of all these beers helps to cleanse the palate between more seasoned dishes.
