In the Dessert & Beer Session Pack, you will discover a selection of 6 beers with very distinct profiles, carefully curated to create perfect pairings with different desserts! These beers range from full-bodied flavours with notes of caramel to the freshness of red fruits, and even the complexity of wood and Burgundy!
Here you will find a brief description of the selected beers and desserts, and you can learn more in the article on Desserts and Beers we published on our blog.
The Insel Baltic Stout is an excellent pairing by similarity for dark chocolate and, by contrast, for grilled banana.
The Delirium Nocturnum, with its sensual colour and balance, is a very interesting beer for light-coloured desserts to enhance colour contrast, and for red fruits to create a greater contrast between sweetness and acidity.
The Gordon Finest Scotch Ale, with its full-bodied and sweet finish, will be excellent with Tiramisu.
The Liefmans Fruitesse is a vibrant, refreshing beer, great for an aperitif or even a cocktail, with or without ice! There is a very wide selection of suggested desserts for the Liefmans; this time, we have chosen white chocolate panna cotta with red fruits.
The Chouffe Cherry has a round, smooth, and delicate body. We suggest a dark chocolate mousse or a low-sugar cocoa brownie.
Finally, the Rodenbach Alexander is a Cherry Ale, based on the Rodenbach Grand Cru, which is arguably the most awarded beer in the world. It will be excellent with chocolate truffles and red fruit desserts. In case of stock shortage, it will be replaced by the Rodenbach Grand Cru.
