About the beer

Saison, or Farmhouse Ale, is a beer style that gets its name from the fact that it was only brewed in winter, when agricultural work on the farms was slower. To ensure the workers remained occupied, they dedicated themselves to producing these beers. They are farmhouse ales with fresh, citrusy palates and a traditionally dry, slightly bitter finish. The Dupont brewery is one of the pioneers in producing this beer style and is still recognized today for the different varieties of Saison it markets.
