About the beer

Vetra BERRY DROP is the result of a collaboration between the Italian brewery Vetra and the Stepping Stone Brewing Company, with 4.5% ABV. Its origin story, as told by the producer, dates back to a meeting "in the Arctic Circle, drinking beer with Vikings while watching the midnight sun"—from that conversation, the idea was born for a fruit and flower sour, "for an eternal spring."

The recipe combines barley malt, blueberry juice, oat flakes, lactose, and an infusion of osmanthus flower, resulting in an intense violet-colored Fruit Sour. On the nose and palate, notes of apricot, peach, honey, and red berries stand out, supported by a mild acidity and a smooth body.
