Letra is a Portuguese brewery based in Vila Verde, in the Minho region, known for its creative approach and use of local ingredients. Sailors Hope was born from a desire to explore new paths within the craft universe: an India Pale Lager that combines the crispness and lightness of a lager with the aromatic dimension of an IPA. The recipe blends barley and wheat malts with oats, and uses Eclipse, Galaxy, and El Dorado hops to create a vibrant profile of tropical fruit and citrus. Minho water completes the recipe, reinforcing the regional character of this beer. The label was inspired by an image captured in Guimarães, linking Sailors Hope to Letra's visual and geographical identity.
