About the beer
With an ABV of 12%, the Bush Ambrée is one of the strongest beers in Belgium. It is a filtered, top-fermented amber beer produced exclusively from malt, hops, natural sugar, water from the brewery's own well, and exclusive yeasts that have been zealously preserved for 65 years. The Bush Ambrée undergoes a "garde" period of four to six weeks between fermentation and bottling to allow its qualities to reach perfection.
Visually, it is a powerful beer with a dark amber color, topped by a compact and imposing crown of foam. In the glass, it releases very fruity aromas of malt and caramel, accompanied by notes of alcohol. On the palate, the malted and fruity notes stand out, with an emphasis on banana, pear, and caramel. Spicy touches are also present. The slight bitterness is masked by the strong presence of alcohol, which manifests in the finish.
