About the beer

Lechia is the result of a collaboration between Ophiussa Brewing (Setúbal) and the Polish brewery Browar Stu Mostów, also available at Syndicato, both sharing a taste for expressive Smoothie Sours.

With 5% ABV, Lechia brings together peach, mirabelle plum, raspberry, blackcurrant, and cherry on a base of Pale Ale malt and wheat, fermented with BRY-97 and a Sour Pitch culture. The result is a dense, fruity mosaic with lively acidity and a velvety body, ending in a persistent finish.

Pairing: by affinity, it accompanies a peach and raspberry tart; by contrast, it balances brie or fresh cheese; as a complement, it works well with a red fruit dessert; and as a palate cleanser, it refreshes after smoked Polish sausages, such as kielbasa.
