About the beer

Ophiussa Brewing Company was born in Setúbal with a clear mission: to explore the limits of hops without sacrificing balance. Eclipse is one of the best examples of this philosophy — expressive, hazy, and irresistibly easy to drink from the very first sip. The recipe combines two hops with very distinct characters: Eclipse, of Australian origin, brings resinous and stone fruit notes; Citra adds vibrant tangerine, lime, and tropical fruit. The base of wheat malts, oats, and oat flakes provides the soft body and the haze characteristic of the style. Verdant IPA yeast completes the profile, amplifying the aromatic expression and the smoothness of the finish.
