Produced in collaboration with the Abbey of Averbode, this Belgian Strong Ale from the respected Huyghe brewery is a clear, delicious beer with floral aromatic notes and hints of green apple. Balanced on the palate, it has a fresh, bitter hop finish that dries out the sweeter malts, making it refreshing and highly drinkable, even with a high ABV (7.5%).

About the beer

Founded in 1134 by Count Arnold II of Loon, brewing activity at Averbode Abbey in Belgium has never ceased since the 14th century. For the production of its "new" beer, the Abbey entrusted Huyghe Brewery, due to their excellence and respect for the past, and because they share the same vision for the environment and social responsibility. Averbode has won over a dozen international awards, including a Gold Medal at the 2024 Brussels Beer Challenge and the 2018 International Beer Challenge in London.
