About the beer

Vetra BLACK COCONUT is part of the "Vetra Black" special edition, a line of Italian Dark Lagers produced by the Milan-based brewery Vetra, with 6.8% ABV. The base combines Pils, Munich, Carafa, and Chocolate malts, complemented by E.K. Golding and Bramling Cross hops, which play a discreet role compared to the prominence of the malt.

Coconut is added to this base, bringing sweetness and a woody touch to the blend, balanced by the roasted richness of the dark malts. The result is a bottom-fermented lager with a medium-full body and a smooth finish, conceived as a liquid dessert.

Pairing:

Coconut desserts — the direct affinity between the ingredient and the beer's profile makes this the most obvious pairing.

Chocolate — the roasted malt reinforces the cocoa notes through complementarity.

Barbecue — the body and sweetness balance the intensity of the grill through contrast.

Digestif — the dense body and sweetness make it suitable to conclude a meal.
