The recipe for Gulden Draak 9000 is based on 4 varieties of malt, which give it an amber colour and a slightly fruity aroma. Like the other special beers from the Van Steenberge brewery, Gulden Draak 9000 is a top-fermented beer with bottle refermentation. For this refermentation, a wine yeast is used which not only contributes to an incomparable taste, but also ensures a long shelf life with flavour evolution.
