Duvel Barrel Aged No. 8 – Brasil Rhum Edition – is a limited edition, released in Sep. '23. The base beer is aged for 8 months in barrels that previously held cachaça, which gives it a tropical and fruity palate with aromas of vanilla, clove, caramel, and toffee. According to the Brewmaster, “The flavor and aftertaste will become more rounded thanks to the original alcohol still present in the oak barrels.
