About the beer

It is a typical beer in its style, initially presenting an intense, sweet flavor, with bitterness emerging afterwards to offer a balanced and smooth finish. La Guillotine was first brewed in 1989 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution; it was such a success that Huyghe—which produces the famous Delirium—decided to include this beer in its permanent offering. Brouwerij Huyghe was founded in 1906 by Leon Huyghe in Melle, Belgium.
