Erdinger Weissbier: The classic Bavarian beer that perfectly combines malt aromas with the elegant smoothness of hops, the secret lying in Erdinger Weissbräu's unique yeasts, which provide fruity notes and a fresh taste. The typical maturation of Bavarian beers allows Erdinger to calmly develop its fantastic harmony of flavors and aromas. Flowers, spices, and malts are all present in this complex fermentation.
Founded in 1886 in the Bavaria region by Johann Kienle, Erdinger Weissbräu began its successful journey as a producer of "weizenbier" – weizen (=wheat) bier (beer). The Brombach family was the main driving force behind the brewery as we know it today. Mr. Franz Brombach took over the brewery in 1950, passing his legacy on to his son in 1975. To this day, Mr. Werner Brombach manages his brewery so that the tradition, quality, and notoriety associated with the Erdinger brand remain intact in the more than 70 countries where it is present.
