About the beer
With an ABV of 12%, the Bush Ambrée is one of the strongest beers in Belgium. It is an amber, filtered, top-fermented beer produced exclusively from malt, hops, natural sugar, the brewery's own water, and exclusive yeasts that have been zealously preserved for 65 years. Bush Ambrée undergoes a "garde" (maturation) period of four to six weeks between fermentation and bottling to allow for the perfection of its qualities.
Visually, it is a powerful beer with a dark amber color, topped by a compact and imposing crown of foam. In the glass, it releases very fruity, malt, and caramel aromas, accompanied by notes of alcohol. On the palate, there are malty and fruity notes, with banana, pear, and caramel standing out. Spicy touches are also present. The slight bitterness is masked by the strong presence of alcohol that manifests on the finish.
